A Haven of Southern Charm: Why You Should Stay at The Camellia Rose Inn in Gainesville, FL

Address: 205 SE 7th Street, Gainesville, FL 32601

The StayGainesville Connection: StayGainesville's Susannah Peddie has known the previous owners, Pat and Tom McCants, of The Camellia Rose Inn since 2008. They were interested in hiring StayGainesville to manage one of their Hodges Apartment, but said that the Inn was for sale. Susannah had a light bulb light up in her head... she consulted with her StayGainesville partners, UF's Gregg Gelber and Ed Rodriguez, and the 3 decided that The Camellia Rose Inn would be a perfect fit for their business. They purchased the Inn in 2021 and have loved the experience. They have since purchased the Laurel Oak Inn, next door, and they have plans to make both place a hub for classes and events.
