superette is your neighbourhood bistro and wine bar located on Pleasant Street in Gainesville, Florida. We offer thoughtfully prepared food and carefully selected wines with an inclusive and beautiful space in which to gather in community and camaraderie.

We live to share the storied and rich world of wine with you. The wine selection in our shop is curated with love and informed by a deep respect for nature and all living beings. We emphasise wines that are lower intervention––sourced from wineries and vineyards around the globe that respect our environment by embracing a biodynamic approach to produce wines free of additives and grown without the use of pesticides and chemicals. We value makers who compensate workers with a fair, liveable wage, provide safe working conditions, and support diversity in the wine world, not only in their wineries, but in the wine world at large. We seek to support small, independent wineries and vineyards that put their love of the tradition into every bottle. The wine list changes frequently but we are sure you will find something you love for there is magic in every bottle we source.

We approach sourcing for our food offerings with the same careful attention to local and artisanal makers, seeking out producers and purveyors that respect the environment, workers, and community through their implementation of environmental sustainability and fair labor and trade practices. Whether dining in our beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, we offer a wide variety mediterranean and middle eastern fare, specialty imported and local cheese and charcuterie selections, and thoughtfully sourced and prepared seasonal menus for apéro and dinner.
